Senior Technical Consultant – Data & AI (Pre-Sales)

About the Role

An established technology solutions provider is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant – Data & AI to join its pre-sales team in Dubai.

This position combines deep technical expertise with customer engagement, helping enterprise organisations design and adopt modern data and AI solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, and technology partners to develop solution architectures, deliver technical presentations, and support complex enterprise opportunities from discovery through to successful deal closure.

This is a highly customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys solving business challenges through technology while acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design and present Data & AI solution architectures aligned to customer objectives.
• Act as the technical lead throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, from discovery workshops to proposal and solution presentation.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, proof of concepts, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and partner teams to develop winning solutions.
• Support strategic enterprise opportunities and complex solution sales.
• Stay current with developments across data platforms, AI technologies, analytics, and cloud services.
• Maintain accurate opportunity updates and technical documentation throughout the sales cycle.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical enablement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–7 years of pre-sales or solution consulting experience within enterprise IT.
• Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers across technical and business functions.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, technical, and delivery teams.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise solution sales.

Technical Experience

Candidates should have strong experience across several of the following areas:

• Data platforms and modern data architectures
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions
• Data warehousing and analytics
• Cloud-based data services
• Enterprise databases
• Data integration and ETL technologies
• Business Intelligence and reporting platforms
• Solution architecture and technical consulting

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with enterprise technology vendors and partner ecosystems.
• Exposure to enterprise database technologies and data management platforms.
• Cloud platform certifications or relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
• Previous experience supporting large enterprise or public sector customers within the UAE or wider GCC.
