PLC Programmer
We are currently looking for an experienced PLC Programmer to support an upcoming automotive shutdown project on a contract basis.

Various automotive manufacturing sites (UK)
Contract Length
Short-term shutdown project with potential extension
Start Date

Key Responsibilities
- PLC programming and modifications during plant shutdown activities
- Fault finding and commissioning support
- System upgrades and production line improvements
- Working alongside controls and electrical teams to minimise downtime
- Supporting installation, testing, and restart of automated systems
Required Experience
- Proven automotive industry experience
- Strong PLC programming background
- Experience working on shutdowns, upgrades, or commissioning projects
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments
Required Technical Skills
- Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLCs
- Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal / Step 7)
- Commissioning and fault-finding experience
- Industrial automation and controls systems knowledge
