About the Role

We are seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with a strong background in mechanical subcontracting within commercial construction. This role focuses on delivering large-scale, complex projects, with a preference for candidates who have worked in mission-critical or data center environments.

Successful candidates will have proven experience managing mechanical scopes on high-value projects and thrive in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost control
  • Lead coordination with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Manage project risks and drive solutions to maintain schedule and budget
  • Lead project meetings and provide consistent reporting to stakeholders
  • Oversee installation, quality, and commissioning processes
  • Mentor and support junior project management staff (for Senior PM roles)

Senior Project Manager Requirements

  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Experience leading large projects with direct reports (APMs or project teams)
  • Proven track record delivering projects with $20M+ contract value
  • Strong experience working for a mechanical subcontractor on commercial construction projects
  • Ability to lead a project team independently

Project Manager Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience at the PM level
  • Experience supporting large-scale projects in a “second seat” role
  • Background working for a mechanical subcontractor on commercial construction projects
  • Strong coordination and execution skills

Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels)

  • Experience in data centers, mission-critical, or healthcare projects
  • Mechanical Engineering or related degree (preferred, not required)
  • Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and construction processes
