Senior Staff Software Architect
Location: Paris/Nice, France
Salary: €65,000 – €85,000 base + RSU & bonus
Introductory Description
A global semiconductor IP company are looking for a Staff Software Architect. You’ll define and build core software platforms used by leading chip designers, with real influence over technical direction and product strategy. Well suited to an experienced architect who enjoys complex systems, cross-team collaboration, and long-term technical ownership.
Key Skills / Experience
Required:
- Strong background in web-based architectures (backend, frontend, SaaS, cloud).
- Expert-level object-oriented programming (Java, C++, Python, or similar).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complex systems.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Beneficial/Nice to have:
- Additional languages such as Scala, Rust, or Kotlin.
- Exposure to EDA tools or semiconductor design workflows.
- Understanding of SoC design concepts, digital hardware generators, or design methodologies.
