Our client, a global leader in telecommunications and digital infrastructure, is seeking a Director of Managed Service Platforms & Innovation to lead a high-performing function that underpins mission-critical services across data centers, networks, and enterprise platforms.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping the vision, performance, and evolution of managed service operations. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, lead digital platform transformation, and deliver innovative solutions that enable scalable, customer-focused growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership

Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Managed Service Platforms, ensuring strong alignment with the organization’s long-term digital and commercial goals.

Lead end-to-end operations across data centers, networks, servers, and enterprise applications to achieve performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction targets.

Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement through data-driven insights, automation, and optimized workflows.

Inspire and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation across all levels.
Service Delivery & Performance Management

Oversee the delivery of managed service operations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Establish and track KPIs that measure service reliability, cost control, and customer success.

Implement best practices and governance frameworks that ensure compliance with global standards and industry benchmarks.

Introduce and refine automation and optimization strategies to increase scalability and reduce operational complexity.
Innovation & Platform Evolution

Lead the development and enhancement of managed service platforms to support next-generation technologies and business models.

Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Commercial teams to design and deploy new service capabilities that enhance market competitiveness.

Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate digital innovation to improve service delivery and customer experience.

Promote a culture of creativity and forward thinking to keep the organization at the forefront of platform transformation.
Customer Focus & Relationship Management

Ensure that all service platforms deliver measurable value to enterprise customers.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to drive alignment and trust.

Develop mechanisms for customer feedback and continuous improvement to enhance responsiveness and satisfaction.
Financial & Resource Management

Own the budget for Managed Service Platforms & Innovation, balancing strategic investment with operational efficiency.

Optimize cost structures, resource utilization, and service profitability.

Identify growth opportunities and support new revenue streams within the managed services portfolio.
Governance, Risk & Compliance

Maintain strong governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and security standards.

Anticipate operational risks and establish proactive mitigation strategies.

Report regularly to senior leadership on performance metrics, platform health, and financial outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).

15+ years of experience in product, platform, or managed services leadership within telecommunications, IT services, or digital infrastructure.

Proven track record of leading complex service delivery operations across multiple technologies and geographies.

Strong understanding of network, data center, and application management environments.

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, lead large technical teams, and deliver transformation at scale.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
