Overview
We are supporting a major Oil & Gas operator in Germany and are seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer with proven Foxboro DCS experience to contribute to control system upgrade and migration projects at existing production facilities.
This position is highly hands-on and based on-site, with a strong focus on the engineering, configuration, and commissioning of Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Foxboro DCS platforms within brownfield environments.
Key Responsibilities

Configure, engineer, and support Foxboro I/A DCS systems as part of revamp and migration programs

Work extensively with Foxboro engineering tools including ICC, FoxCAE, and IEE

Create, update, and maintain operator interfaces and graphics using FoxView / FoxDraw

Participate in and support FAT, SAT, commissioning, fault-finding, and post-startup stabilization

Interpret and work from P&IDs, loop diagrams, functional specifications, and electrical drawings

Collaborate closely with client engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on site
Required Experience & Skills

3–5+ years of practical, hands-on experience working with Foxboro I/A DCS

Demonstrated experience using ICC, FoxCAE, and IEE engineering tools

Strong background in FoxView / FoxDraw graphics development

Solid understanding of industrial automation and DCS-based control systems

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as P&IDs and wiring diagrams

Fluent in German and English
