Job Title: Institutional Business Development Manager (East Asia)

This role is ideal for an institutional business development professional with deep knowledge of the East Asian market and strong experience working with API-driven trading clients.
Key Responsibilities
Institutional Client Development (East Asia Focus)
• Identify, target, and onboard institutional clients across East Asia, including market makers, brokers, proprietary trading firms, and other API-first trading entities.
• Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships by understanding client trading strategies, infrastructure, and liquidity requirements.
Commercial Negotiation & Deal Execution
• Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations, ensuring commercially sound and mutually beneficial partnership structures.
• Drive cooperation agreements to successful closure while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and trust.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Contribution
• Monitor institutional trading trends, API usage patterns, competitor activity, and regional market dynamics across East Asia.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support product development and regional growth strategies.
Client Support & Relationship Management
• Act as the primary commercial point of contact for institutional API clients.
• Work closely with internal technical and product teams to support API integrations, resolve issues, and optimise client trading performance.
• Strengthen client engagement to drive sustained growth in API trading volumes.
Performance & Growth Delivery
• Own and deliver against individual and regional KPIs, including institutional client acquisition and API trading volume growth.
• Contribute to broader institutional expansion initiatives and long-term growth objectives.
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience
• 3+ years of experience in institutional business development or sales within digital assets, financial services, fintech, or high-growth technology environments.
• Proven experience working with institutional or API-based trading clients such as market makers, brokers, or quantitative trading firms.
Technical & Market Expertise
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets and institutional trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with API trading systems, high-frequency trading, quantitative strategies, and liquidity provision models.
• Comfortable discussing API specifications, data transmission, and integration workflows with technical stakeholders.
