FPGA Engineer – DSP

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $165,000 – $250,000 base + 10% bonus

Introductory Description

A rapidly growing wireless communications company are looking for multiple FPGA Engineers to join their R&D team designing leading wireless communication systems technology for the military/defence sector.

Key Skills / Experience

Required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong experience in RTL design (Verilog or SystemVerilog)
• DSP
• Experience with FPGA toolchains (synthesis, timing closure, multi-clock domain design).
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs/SoCs and Vivado.
• U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Beneficial:

• MS or PhD in relevant technical discipline
• MATLAB
• Scripting experience (Python, Perl)
• Experience with wireless communication systems (SDR, MIMO, Satcoms etc.)
