The Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing engineering organisation that delivers complex automation and control system projects across a range of industrial sectors.
Due to continued project growth, they are seeking Control Systems Engineers at Mid-Level, Senior and Lead level to join their team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and development through to testing, implementation and commissioning.
Travel will be required from time to time as part of project delivery.
Responsibilities
Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:
- Development and implementation of industrial automation and control system solutions.
- PLC, SCADA and DCS programming, configuration and testing.
- Participation in project delivery, commissioning and client support activities.
- Preparation and review of technical documentation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams and end users.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers where appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience delivering industrial automation or control systems projects.
- Exposure to PLC, SCADA and/or DCS technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within project teams.
- Experience supporting project delivery within industrial environments.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Australian working rights.
For senior-level positions, previous experience leading projects, managing technical deliverables and mentoring engineers would be highly regarded.
