Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer
Location: Remote with European Travel

Edison Smart are after a hands-on engineer to lead automation software for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, motion control, and robotics. You’ll set coding standards, integrate software with mechanical/electrical systems, mentor junior engineers, and shape the technical roadmap.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in industrial automation software development

• Strong PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)

• Experience with HMI, motion control, robotics, and safety systems

• Knowledge of control system design, industrial networks, and fieldbus protocols

• Experience in regulated industries (GMP, GAMP, validation)

• Leadership and documentation skills

Candidates must be able to start ASAP and open to European travel.
